Operation Homefront is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2002 whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. For over twenty years, we have provided programs that offer relief and recurring family support that help military families overcome the short-term bumps in the road, so they do not become long-term chronic problems.

Our signature Holiday Meals for Military® program assists military families during the holidays by providing them with a holiday meal kit or grocery gift card. Since the program’s inception in 2010, we provided over 190,000 holiday meals to military and veteran families across the nation.

The Holiday Meals for Military® program serves two key purposes: to ease some of the financial strain that often accompanies the holiday season and to address the critical issue of food insecurity among military families. Latest research indicates that one in five military and veteran families faces the difficult choice of skipping meals or choosing between buying food and paying bills.

Our primary focus is on supporting Active-Duty military families in junior enlisted ranks, National Guard and Reservists, and post-9/11 wounded Veterans.

Last year, we had the honor of serving over 200 military and veteran families at our Holiday Meals for Military® event in Las Vegas, ensuring that these families had access to purchase items for their traditional holiday meal.

This year, we're committed to supporting 200 local military and veteran families at our Las Vegas, Nevada event on December 7th. We're excited to spread holiday cheer by providing families with grocery gift cards, toys, festive activities, and other special giveaways.

Your generous donation will directly support our mission of providing giveaways to military and veteran families during the holiday season. By supporting our efforts, you're helping to alleviate financial burdens and bring joy to those who serve our country.

To show our appreciation, organizations that provide donations will have their logo (if permitted) displayed on our event signage. Additionally, they will receive a donation receipt, a certificate (if a mailing address is provided), and a post-event thank you letter that includes a link to Flickr albums featuring event photos.
