Every year, the neighbors in Powelton Village come together for an evening to celebrate the holiday spirit.  At our event, we have a holiday meal prepared by neighborhood volunteers and the event brings together the many generations in our neighborhood.

Part of our event is a silent auction to raise money to support neighborhood clean-ups of our streets, maintain public green spaces through-out or neighborhood and maintain our local children’s playground and park. 

By providing a safe and clean space for our neighborhood children to play, we are impacting not only the children that live in our neighborhood, but also children from other local neighborhoods.  We purchase woodchips for safety and pay for the street lights that keep the park safe. 

You will be recognized for your donation on our website and our newsletter, which reaches over 800 people.  Our event typically has more than 200 neighbors attending.  So, not only will you be helping the neighborhood children, but it will be a unique opportunity to show your support of our local West Philadelphia Community.
