Description

Little People of America Windy City Chapter 54 will be holding our annual Holiday party on Sunday, December 3rd in Roselle IL. This event gathers people with dwarfism and their families for support. For some, this will be the first time they have ever seen someone else with dwarfism. The connection that children and adults make strengthens their self-confidence and enables them to have someone they can talk to about specific issues related to dwarfism that average people may not understand. Members can also share with each other and get referrals to medical specialists and gain resources on adaptive products, modifications, school, finding jobs and more.

During the event, we will have a visit from Santa with gifts for children, luncheon, bingo and raffles. This is very meaningful to the families. We are asking you to consider sponsoring our event? If this is not feasible would you consider donating a few gift cards.

Little People of America is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with dwarfism throughout their lives while celebrating with great pride Little People’s contribution to social diversity. LPA strives to bring solutions and global awareness to the prominent issues affecting individuals of short stature and their families. Our funding comes from donations, fundraisers and membership dues.
