Dear Friends of the Cancer Support Center,

Get into the holiday spirit with Cancer Support Center! 

I would like to formally introduce myself as I am the Development Associate for Special Events at the Cancer Support Center! I am excited to announce that on Friday, December 9th, the Cancer Support Center will be hosting, Holiday Spirits, the annual event to celebrate “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!” Holiday Spirits will be held at Wiley’s Grill in Flossmoor and will feature craft beer and wine tastings, heavy appetizers, raffles, and live entertainment.

 The Center is the only organization in Chicago’s Southland that raises critical funds to provide counseling, fitness, nutrition and so much more --always free of charge-- to those impacted by cancer and their families. We believe no one should have to be on a cancer journey alone. In 2021, through in-person & hybrid programs, telehealth, and on-demand videos- we provided individuals impacted by cancer with over 17,700 hours of support. We continue to provide services in various ways so that it is easy to access our high-quality mental health and wellness care from diagnosis to survivorship. 

We receive no state or federal grants, or insurance payments. We rely on the generosity of our community - people like you. Your support makes this all possible!

I hope you will consider donating an item to our raffle prizes. In recognition, your donation will be acknowledged on signage at our event. In order to receive full recognition benefits for your donation, please reply to us no later than Friday, December, 2nd.
