On Saturday, February 10, 2024, Holyoke Medical Center (HMC) will host its annual gala and silent auction event at Mill 1 in Holyoke, MA. We’d like to request a gift-in-kind donation to help make our auction a success. It will be held online the week of February 4-10. This will be the first time we’ve held the auction virtually.

The gala with silent auction is HMC’s primary charity event and we’re looking forward to an evening that will raise needed funds to benefit employee appreciation efforts of the Healthcare Heroes at Valley Health Systems Our team provides compassionate, award-winning care and services to our community through our affiliates of Holyoke Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Group, Holyoke Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Life Care, and River Valley Counseling Center.

For 130 years, HMC has been raising funds to support its mission and the silent auction is an important part of the fundraising efforts that the hospital relies on each year. We’ve not been able to hold this event for the last several years, so we’re looking forward to bringing things back.

Pre-event marketing for the event will include featuring donors and highlighting items by sharing them on our social media channels. Individual recognition will also be listed on our website, in the event program, and in our annual Donor Report. A print advertisement will appear in the hospital’s publication, Valley Health & Life magazine’s winter issue. Pre-event communications will also be sent to the organization’s affiliates of almost 2,000 employees and staff, along with the many donors who support the hospital.
