JoCo IHN is a 501 (c)(3) non profit that provides shelter and meals to families and
single women who are experiencing temporary homelessness in Johnson County,
Kansas. An unexpected job layoff, long-term illness, divorce, or death of a loved one
can turn entire families homeless almost overnight. JoCo IHN is an interfaith
intervention program that helps restore stability to motivated, situationally homeless
families and single women. JoCo IHN is in its 19th year of service to those in need
and is supported by over 3,000 trained volunteers. Our website, www.jocoihn.org,
contains information about the people we serve, the services we provide, and the
local churches that support us. Since our organization began in 2004, the program
has lifted up and empowered 870 individuals, 500 of which are children, and 92 are
single women. JoCo IHN and area churches have provided 55,919 overnight
accommodations, as well as 167,757 meals.

How You Can Help
Become a donor to JoCo IHN’s 12th annual auction, Home Is Where the Heart Is.
Dinner and auction will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Fiorella's Event
Space in Overland Park. We expect attendance of 250-300 guests.

● Donate tangible items for our live and silent auctions.
Donations can be sent directly to our office at the address listed below or one of our
authorized volunteers can collect it from your business.
● Become an auction sponsor.
Sponsor levels available include Platinum-$5,000, Gold-$2,500 and Silver-$1,000. All
three levels receive preferential seating at the event, highlighted inclusion at the
auction and online publicity.
● Host a table at the event.
Bring your friends to enjoy an evening of fellowship and shopping while supporting
those less fortunate. A link to register will be available on our website,

● Become a Matching Donor.
A special event happens during our live auction called FUND A NEED. We are
seeking individuals or businesses to do a partial or full match of the money raised
during the 20 minutes of this live event.
