Life Services Alternatives (LSA) provides exceptional community housing and programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The need for housing in our county for those with IDD is at a crisis level. In the past three years, more than 40 residential care homes have been forced to close their doors due to the lack of staffing, low government reimbursement rates and the high cost of living.

Since 2002, LSA has opened 15 homes throughout the county for those adults with IDD and are currently working on our 16th home. Our Home is Where the Heart is fundraising dinner event is raising money to finish costly home renovations to make this house ADA compliant, as well as furnish it from top to bottoom for 6 more residents to move in.

Home is Where the Heart is will be held on May 18, 2024  at the Campbell Community Center from 4pm - 7pm. We are expectly approximately 150 people to attend this event that includes dinner, guest speakers, entertainment and a Silent Auction.
