Description

The Honey Run Covered Bridge Association (“HRCBA”) will host its 4th annual golf tournament at Bailey Creek Golf Course, 433 Durkin Drive, Lake Almanor, CA on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  All proceeds will be used for the reconstruction of the bridge and preservation of the park.

With sufficient funding from private donations and the Fire Victim Trust, 2024 will prove to be an exciting year - construction of the bridge will begin onsite April 2024!!  Summer we will see fabrication of these materials and then erection over Butte Creek with large cranes.  We expect Phase 3 to be completed this Fall.  The Covered Bridge Park will be closed during the building process.

As you may be aware, after the fire ownership of the bridge was transferred to the Honey Run Covered Bridge Association.  So meanwhile, fundraising will continue to cover ongoing expenses to maintain the park - which total about $50,000 per year.

This golf tournament will be a scramble and open to all levels of golfers.  It will be a fun event that will include golf, lunch, drinks on course, dinner, raffle/auction prizes and entertainment.  For those who do not play golf, dinner-only tickets will be available for purchase.

Please support the Honey Run Covered Bridge Association’s 4th Annual Golf Classic through sponsorship or participation.  HRCBA is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit, and most donations are tax deductible.
