On June 21, 2025 Hooks for Hereos will hold its 14th fundraiser. It will be hosted by the Halloween Yacht club of Stamford, Ct. The fundraiser will support the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 Operation Gift Card program and other local veteran origanizations. Operation Gift Card is for the benefit of our military service men and women who incurred service connected wounds, injuries or illnesses and who are patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.  The gift cards presented to our troops and their families are extremely helpful in giving them a little help at this difficult time so they can purchase items for their personal needs.  We expect over 300 people to attend this event this year.
