Description

Greetings,

The Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAMFI) is proud to present the 6th ‘Hope Without Boundaries’ 5K Walk / Run (HWB5K) on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the National Harbor in Maryland. The HWB5K is being held to bring awareness to the hundreds of thousands of persons of color who are missing across the nation.

Since 2008, BAMFI has been the sole non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on missing persons of color – men, women, and children – on a national level. Since our inception, BAMFI has reunited and brought closure to over 300 families throughout the country. Our mission is simple – to bring awareness to the issue of missing persons of color (who are often ignored by the media); keep those that have vanished without a trace in the forefront, and educate the minority community on personal safety. And, we do all of this at NO COST because of the support of wonderful people like you.

In order to make this event a success, we are seeking out sponsorships from companies and organizations that are committed to implementing positive strategies to bring about lasting change. This event will provide a great opportunity for your business to:

· Build brand awareness and recognition;

· Promote products and services to hundreds even thousands of attendees;

· Increase sales and customer loyalty;

· Make a real difference in the lives of families who have a missing loved one.

We are committed to actively promoting every sponsor who will help make this a much-anticipated yearly event. Your company’s name will be included on our website; http://www.bamfi.org (over 1/2M views per year) and social media outlets: 200K+ fans (Facebook), 40K+ followers (Instagram), 18K+ followers (Twitter); email list (10K+ subscribers), on the event t-shirt and appear in all press materials.

We are confident that the race will attract a good number of adults and children along with widespread media coverage. Our last event was a success with over 1200 participants in attendance: 77% women and 23% men with 46% between the ages of 25-44. Event participants were college-educated professionals located throughout cities in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Region (Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland), and over 90% were African-American.

There are several ways you can be involved, and we offer a variety of custom sponsorship options that will give you months of continued exposure. We invite you to go over the sponsorship options described on the attached pages. There are no cost options that range from having your product/coupons/flyers in our race bags, to donating products to raffle or auction, to sponsoring a missing person for as little as $150 up to $3500. We look forward to your help with sponsoring a fun, positive event for the community.

If you have any questions about the 5K or the available sponsorship opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for the consideration of sponsorship.

Together, we can bring our missing home or provide much-deserved closure for their families.

If a sponsorship is not in your company’s budget please consider making a small donation at https://www.blackandmissinginc.com/donate/ or donating items for an auction or raffle.

P.S. The Black and Missing Docuseries is now playing on HBO and HBO MAX.

Very Best Regards,
