The Rotary Club of Pottsville is proud to announce that the 16th annual Hops, Vine & Dine event is scheduled for Thursday evening, September 29, 2019. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Barefield Recreational Complex, 823 Terry Reiley Way, Pottsville. We are inviting you to participate in the event. In the past, we have had many great business like yours support our event. The proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Pottsville Rotary Charities as well as our partnering charities, Servants to All Homeless Shelter. We hope that this years’ event will attract many supporters. We will have a Chinese auction as well as a silent auction. Please consider supporting our event by donating a gift certificate, merchandise, or services. Servants to All is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization and provides services to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Schuylkill County and the surrounding counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Servants to All is Schuylkill County’s only emergency homeless shelter. In addition Servants to All provides temporary housing, homeless prevention, street outreach, case management, and supportive services. Servants to All also provides supportive services such as emergency food, clothing, and transportation. Individuals who have no other nighttime residence are provided emergency housing. Servants to All is open to all community members in need and there are no fees for any services provided by Servants to All. Servants to All assists a great number of clients who are either homeless, at risk of homelessness, or experiencing other extreme financial difficulty. 100% of the clients we serve are living below the poverty guidelines. Servants to All serves a wide range of people in need and plays a large role in reducing and preventing homelessness. We target and work with specific and vulnerable populations such as veterans, persons with disabilities, re-entry population, families, and transitional aged youths. Servants to All also supports the needs of the elderly in collaboration with local Senior Services and Adult Protective Services. We seek out and serve individuals who are sleeping in places not meant for human habitation; people being discharged from an institution with no permanent residence available; people who would be discharged from an institution if there was a permanent residence available; and displaced victims of domestic violence.
