Description
Horses in the Arroyo Day is an annual event celebrating the history of horses in Pasadena's Arroyo Seco/Hahamongna Watershed Park. Contestants compete in games on horseback and on foot. Rose Bowl Riders Charitable Organization hosts a Silent Auction during the day that supports the outreach programs provided to City of Pasadena youth. Outreach programs include free and reduced fee horsemanship classes and clinics, history and art classes involving horses, horse shows, horse camp and riding lessons.
