Description

Hospice of South Georgia, Inc is excited to host this year’s Market to Midnight on Saturday, August 26th from 7:30pm-midnight at the Wayne County Farmer’s Market located at 533 N 1st Street in Jesup, GA. This event will feature live music from The Six Piece Suits Band, food vending, dancing, a wonderful silent auction, and so much more. It’s going to be such an exciting night and a wonderful way to show your support for Hospice of South Georgia, Inc.

Hospice of South Georgia, Inc. was established in 1999, in Jesup, Georgia, as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a community-based and community- supported organization dedicated to providing professional yet compassionate clinical, emotional, spiritual and bereavement support to our patients and their families through hope, dignity and love. We provide hospice services to patients and families in Appling, Bacon, Brantley, Jeff Davis, Liberty, Long, Pierce, Tattnall, and Wayne Counties, as well as portions of Coffee, Glynn, McIntosh and Ware Counties.

Our biggest consideration is patient and family care. We believe we must stay within a comfortable traveling radius for both staff and families in order to maintain integrity and provide the best possible care.

Hospice is a philosophy and a program of care which includes comprehensive and compassionate expert care for patients who can no longer benefit from aggressive, curative treatments. We affirm life but recognize that death is a normal part of the life continuum. Hospice care does not hasten death nor prolong life. Instead, we strive to enhance the quality of life for those who are facing a life-limiting illness. We offer a comprehensive set of services needed to manage all of a person’s symptoms and complications, including medical, spiritual and emotional support for patients and their families. Our goal is to allow end-of-life patients to live each day to the fullest with dignity and in comfort.
