TOWNSHEND, VT – Continuing a tradition that started in 1950, Grace Cottage’s 73rd Hospital Fair Day will once again be celebrated on the Townshend Common on the first Saturday of August, August 5, 9 am-3 p.m., rain or shine.

This year, all Hospital Fair Day proceeds will go to our Family Health Clinic, helping this small, rural hospital with the big heart to care for our community in sickness and in health.

This unique fundraising event is lots of fun for the whole family. Enjoy the Birthday Parade, all-day auction, bingo, kids’ games, homemade pies, jewelry, t-shirts, bargain booths, fried dough, food booths, live music, and more. Two special items will be auctioned: a beautiful 1940 Chevy truck (at 2 p.m.) and a one-of-a-kind, Fair Day t-shirt quilt, queen-size, made by Deb Record (to be auctioned immediately after the truck).
