Each year, Hollywood Schoolhouse hosts a gala to raise much-needed funds for tuition assistance. Aside from the generosity of our parent body, we rely on help from our community partners to make our event a fundraising success. Currently, we are in need of auction items for our live and online auctions and event sponsorships in order to bring our vision to life.

Since 1945, our school has known, valued, and encouraged inspired learning and fearless curiosity, with a long history of supporting the Hollywood community in which we are located. Although we started as a small nursery school, our current student population of over 300 students ranges from Preschool to Sixth Grade. We pride ourselves on our culturally and socially diverse student body, with bright and talented children from all over the world and all over Los Angeles. This past few years have been particularly difficult for our community financially due to COVID-19, as it has been for everyone, but we are happy to have our students on campus and slowly bring our families back together for in-person gatherings.

Our spring gala is our largest annual fundraising event, and raises funds specifically for tuition assistance for families who would not otherwise be able to afford a Hollywood Schoolhouse education for their children. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at the Andaz West Hollywood and will welcome over 300 guests for hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dancing, entertainment, live and online auctions, and more. Our event is advertised to over 500 supporters and participating businesses will be prominently thanked on all appropriate event signage and communications. Guests will include high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, and influencers from across various sectors. Past event attendees include Amy Adams, Sam & Aaron Taylor Johnson, Malin Ackerman, Meghan Markle, Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Jimmy Kimmel, Lawrence Fishburne and more.
