LARC, a not-for-profit organization serving individuals with special needs, will host its Annual Appreciation Dinner on Friday, April 26, to recognize several employees, clients and volunteers for their accomplishments during the past year.  The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. at the Serbian Social Center in Lansing.

The event typically draws more than 300 guests and features dinner, complimentary cocktails, music and dancing, raffles and a silent auction.  All proceeds will support more than 100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in programs that promote job training and employment, daily life skills enrichment, senior care, 24-hour residential services, and special recreation.

“The Annual Appreciation Dinner is a huge part of our fundraising efforts, and it’s always a fantastic time,” said Ernie Gonzalez, Executive Director. “We’re very grateful for those individuals and businesses in our community who support this event and help LARC to promote quality, dignity, and choice for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

Ad sizes range from business card to full page, and range in price from $50 to $500.  Popular gift items include wine, coffee or movie baskets, gift cards, spa packages, sports memorabilia, gift certificates, sporting event or theatre tickets, autographed items and jewelry.
