Description

The Hunger Walk is an annual free event that raises awareness about the food insecurity crisis in Los Angeles County. This year, it will be held on Sunday, November 3rd at Ocean Front Walk in Santa Monica State Beach. This marks the 34th year of this event, which symbolizes our community's commitment to eradicating hunger in our Westside neighborhoods. One in three households in Los Angeles County is currently food insecure, which makes this event more important than ever. The Hunger Walk is a free event, participants will receive a free t-shirt, a swag bag and access to our expo and raffle. Participants can also form a team to help raise funds for us to purchase food.

Good Day LA Anchor Brooke Thomas will be hosting this year's 5K Hunger Walk at Ocean View Park. The walk will begin and end at Ocean View Park (2701 Barnard Way, Santa Monica, CA). Join us in our efforts to help those in need by putting on your walking shoes and participating in the event. For more information, please visit wsfb.org/hungerwalk.
