Our annual fundraiser HuRrAh! will take place on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at the Fort Worth Zoo. All funds raised will assist in allowing Helping Restore Ability to continue providing quality caregiving services in the community while keeping our caregivers safe and healthy.

With the national employment shortage, recruiting and retaining caregivers has proven difficult. The support that Helping Restore Ability receives from the community enables our caregivers to receive a more livable wage, receive full benefits, and perform their job with the highest level of expertise. Your support provides disease specific training for the caregivers to assist in providing preventative healthcare, assisting clients in taking ownership of their own health care and preventing the need for more intrusive urgent care. Without the superior care provided by these Healthcare Heroes, the 930 clients served by Helping Restore Ability would risk a forced move to institutional care, such as a nursing home or inpatient treatment facility.
