Our Students

The nearly 4,000 students in our Husky Nation - Hoover High School, Meredith Middle School, Hillis, Monroe, Samuelson, and Moore Elementaries in northwest Des Moines, Iowa - need your help to reach their full potential! With 80% of our student population considered economically disadvantaged, it is harder for our students and families to afford expanded learning opportunities.    

Our Foundation

Our educators and community rise to the challenge by working tirelessly to create an exemplary learning environment. To go the extra mile, educators and community members rely on mini-grants from the Hoover Meredith Learning Community Foundation. As a 501(c)(3), HMLCF unites the monetary support of individuals and businesses to fund grants on the basis of educational value, mission alignment, and student impact.  

Our Soiree

Set for Saturday, February 17th, the Husky Soiree 2024 will be a gala evening of dinner, drinks, entertainment, as well as silent and live auctions. It is our premiere fundraiser to unite the passion and resources of the community.
