The Gala is our marquee event where guests enjoy dinner, dancing, fellowship and desirable auction items. It is a collective celebration of our accomplishments in fighting to end the HIV epidemic in New Jersey and address the challenges that lie ahead. It is also the fundraiser where we hope to meet our goal of raise $150,000 for our client programming which we provide to those in need 100% free since 1985.

Hyacinth has lead the fight in New Jersey to end HIV, not only on the care and treatment side, but also with prevention education, outreach and public policy. We have adapted and made it a priority to normalize care to ensure clients stayed medically adherent and were connected to needed care. As we adapt to a world where pandemics and outbreaks have an ongoing impact on our clients and communities, we must continue to expand our outreach to these underserved areas; however, each year we are challenged with maintaining these essential programs even though the need necessitates expansion of our efforts
