Dear Business Owner:
Hazlet Youth Athletic League (“HYAL”) is a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 1957 by
a group of families to provide the children of Hazlet with a safe and fun environment to
play Baseball. Over time we have added a number of other sports including Basketball,
Cheer, Football, Softball and Wrestling in the pursuit of helping the children become well
rounded adults by learning teamwork, sense of community, discipline and hard work.
As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never been so unpredictable.
With these challenging times, we hope you are in good spirits and health. We are doing
everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide safe recreation programs for
our community's youth. While there is a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt
fast to the new normal. Now, more than ever, our community needs us, and we need you.
If you are in a position to, we are seeking in-kind donations, either monetary or
donations of products, gift certificates and or services to raffle off to raise these much
needed funds at a Gift Auction scheduled on Friday, May 21, 2021 at our clubhouse.
The gift auction is filled with one-of-a-kind items and is a large part of the evening’s
activities. As a special thank you, we will list your business information with your donation
and in our program which will be given to every person who attends our event. Your taxdeductible donation will be greatly appreciated and will truly benefit the children of
Hazlet for years to come.
If you are unable to make a donation at this time, there are many other ways you
can support us. You can advocate by sharing our mission with a family member or friend.
Even a quick mention on any social media would mean the world to us. In times like this,
