Dear Friends, 

I am writing to you on behalf of St. Thomas the Apostle School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit (Tax ID: 95-1642386), to request a donation from your company for our annual “I am St. Thomas” Scholarship Awards Dinner and Silent Auction on April 20, 2022. With your help, we can make this event a success and continue to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students.  

St. Thomas the Apostle School is an accredited TK-8 Catholic School serving the Pico-Union Community in Los Angeles since 1908. Together, teachers and parents work as a faith community to touch the hearts and minds of our students. Our school depends on the annual giving to offset the difference between tuition and the true cost of educating each child. The mainstay of St. Thomas’ fundraising program and annual giving contributions are raised and spent during the current fiscal/school year, providing an immediate and direct benefit to each student.

By donating merchandise, services, or gift certificates to our silent auction, your tax-deductible contribution will help us continue offering our students access to a quality Catholic school education, despite their families’ delicate financial situations.

As a way of showing our appreciation, your company’s name and logo will be displayed in all of our promotional materials and at the auction table. We will also display any marketing materials you provide to help recruit prospective customers. We anticipate over 150 alumni, donors and friends and all proceeds will go directly towards our scholarship fund. 

Please send your donation to our campus located at 2632 W. 15th St., Los Angeles, CA 90006 by April 25, 2022, attention Vanessa Rivera. If your donation needs to be picked up, please let us know by April 18, 2022 so that we may make necessary arrangements.
