I Am Your Ruth is a non-profit organization with a mission to touch and change the lives of children through education. IAYR aims to provide after-school programs geared towards children between the ages of 3 through 18 years. Our overall mission is to provide and promote academic achievement by introducing children to STEM subjects while encouraging them to stay active by inspiring them to participate in sports to keep their bodies healthy and their minds ready to learn. We seek to inspire kids to become Scholastic Athletic Achievers. 

 We work with children to teach them to differentiate the time to play from the time to focus. We teach them the purpose of education, dedication and hardwork. We allow them to relish in the limelight of their own identity and develop their own unique leadership identity. We choose to work with children and help them to become positive statistics by ensuring they stay ahead of the learning curve. We give the gift of success and hand the keys to education and allow them to soar on their own little wings as eagles!

​We raise funds for our programs and scholarships through donations and IAYR events. Our IAYR Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Fundraising event will give attendees an opportunity to meet our recent Scholarship recipients and we will hold raffles to raise funds that will go towards the Scholarships.
