The Colonial Trail Elementary PTA Auction Committee partners with local businesses and advocates to ensure every Colonial Trail Elementary School (CTES) student and educator can access the critical educational resources they need to thrive.

As a valued local business leader, you play a significant role in the success of CTES students, staff, and the greater Glen Allen community. I’m writing to invite your business to participate in our mission as a corporate donor for the 2023 CTES Virtual Auction.

In 2022, generous support from businesses like yours helped raise $12,000 to fund teacher
scholarships, classroom supplies, student and community events, and a new accessible playground to support students with disabilities.

Your support this year will go toward learning resources for our students such as STEAM and technology labs, classroom enhancements, guest speakers, family and community events, and so much more. We also have a long-term goal to build an outdoor classroom, which will offer thousands of current and future CTES students the opportunity to experience our natural world up close – gaining valuable skills in science, creativity, and problem-solving.

Would you be willing to make a contribution to our auction?

To show how much we value your support, we’d happily display your business name, description, and an image of your choosing on our auction website and promotional materials. This is an excellent advertising opportunity to reach 700+ local families over a two-week period running from March 17th through March 28th. There is no limit to what you can donate. We sincerely appreciate whatever you are able to give. Some examples from last year include:

Please note that we may combine your item with other donated items. However, if we do, we will be sure to prominently display your business name and image in addition to other donor names on the auction item. Moreover, we are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization (TAX ID: 26-0284404).
