Since 1967, The Neighborhood Center has been helping local families overcome the challenges posed by poverty. The Neighborhood Center makes an impact in the community every day by supplying hundreds of families with food from our Urban Farm and Food Pantry, as well as by providing housing and other supportive services to homeless and near-homeless families.  We also serve as a welcoming place for those individuals and families facing challenges that seem overwhelming to them. We do this by devoting time and compassion to the situation, linking the individuals and families with appropriate services and advocating on their behalf. Through our efforts, often, those overwhelming situations become less overwhelming and resolvable.
