On behalf of the board and staff of Aldersgate Preschool, I am writing to ask for your support of our largest fundraising event of the year – our Ice Cream Social and Silent Auction.  The money raised from this annual event will help support our school with curriculum, facility enrichments and educational activities and programs (such as large and small motor skill set building, technology upgrades, indoor and outdoor equipment, etc.).  Our Ice Cream Social and Silent Auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:30pm and is attended by a majority of our 250 children and their families (about 450-500 people).

At our last event we raised $8400 thanks to the generosity of our bidders as well as people and businesses who donated items to our auction.  With help from our community to keep our costs low, we are asking businesses to consider a donation of a good, service or gift card to be placed in the Silent Auction.  As you know, these types of events would not be possible without the help of those in our community.  

Donations are due by March 15th so that we have time to prepare items for bidding at the auction.

Aldersgate Preschool, located in Olathe, is a non-profit organization (tax # 48-0893084) committed to offering quality and affordable preschool education to our community.  The money raised from this event will help support our program through a variety of activities and projects which are determined most vital for our community’s children.

Your business will be recognized at the event on a sign listing all of our donors, on the silent auction basket information and on our website!
