Idaho Gives is a statewide, online giving event that goes from May 1 - 4, 2023. On May 1, we are hosting an in-person event to kick-off Idaho Gives.

We are raising funds to expand our computer lab (currently 7 computers) to better provide computer training to youth and educators in Notsé, Togo. This essential training is in great demand and growing (we still have 3+ students to a computer). It will provide a much-needed foundation and equip students for future success.

Technology is rapidly changing the landscape of the worldwide workforce, and the demand for a digitally skilled workforce continues to rise. Togo has a population of 8.38 million people (2021), with 60% of that being under the age of 25. Only 23% of the total population has access to the internet (2021), however this ia a promising increase of 17% from 2020. Prominant barriers to computer access in Togo are financial resources to purchase computers and access to power and internet. ICPSD works to break down barriers in support of community-driven development through partnerships and the sharing of knowledge and expertise.
