The poverty rate in Arizona is 19.1% which means almost 1 in 5 children (308,459) live at or below the poverty line. At Aspiring Youth Academy (501c3: 81-2270726), founded in 2014 by the 20s & 30s Club of Phoenix, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their socio-economic background. AYA's mission is to end the cycle of poverty in Arizona families by cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit in Arizona youth and teaching financial education and business principles.
