Young Actors' Theatre will hold our annual Gala, Imagine, on Saturday, May 21, from 5:30-10:00 at the Four Points by Sheraton, in San Diego, CA. The gala event will feature silent auction items during the cocktail hour, followed by dinner with live auctions and entertainment by our featured students.

For nearly 14 years, Young Actors' Theatre (YAT) has carried out its unique mission of engaging young people in imagination and creativity.  Each year we offer hundreds of students the opportunity to discover their artistic gifts through our performing arts programs.  Our programs are offered on-site, and in local public schools with professional training and instruction.  We will be raising funds at this year's Gala to support the programs of Young Actors' Theatre and to introduce our new Community Outreach Program.

We believe that all young people have a choice to make in their extra-curricular activities, and that the arts should be a valid choice for them.  The removal of the arts from school curriculum has seriously impacted our students of today.  At Young Actors' Theatre, kids can discover who they are meant to be.  They develop confidence and grow into valuable adults.
