This year, we are celebrating Home Sweet Home Foundation’s new partnership with Ada S. McKinley. In April, during the week of service, we will be building gardens at the residences of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) that are supported by Ada S. McKinley. Our partnership will extend beyond the week of service. Our volunteers will build long-lasting relationships with residents by teaching them how to garden, and enjoy the fruits of the garden by eating healthy meals together. This also marks our first in-person fundraiser since December 2019. We will welcome 50 community and corporate members, and friends to recognize the positive impact Home Sweet Home Foundation has made on adults with I/DD throughout the pandemic and to celebrate our new partnership.
