Description

Northwood Montessori School, established in 1975, is delighted to host its 47th annual auction fundraiser on Saturday, February 26, 2022. This year’s theme will be in celebration of the founder of our educational philosophy, Maria Montessori. As we make plans to gather together nearly two years after the start of the global pandemic, we are grateful for the opportunity to afrm the strength and resilience of our school, both as a collection of families dedicated to helping one another, and also as an essential part of the greater Houston early learning community. We are humbled, we are hopeful, and we are continuously renewed in our dedication to continue the work—with one another and for the children.

In keeping with tradition, this year’s event will include food and refreshments, music, rafes, and spirited bidding in silent and live auctions

We are a non-prot, non-denominational school providing an environment that enables all our children to develop self-condence, independence, inner discipline, and a sincere love of learning. In addition to using the proceeds from our fundraiser to further enhance the educational experience of the students, 10% of the money earned goes into a scholarship fund designated to assist struggling families with school tuition. Through the benevolent support of donors in years past, we have been able to: construct the Toddler Environment Building, enrich the school learning environment with a nature study area, develop a multicultural library with artifacts and books from around the world, add bicycle and walking trails to the playground, and build a beautiful garden house.

Your consideration of contribution is deeply appreciated! It is of great importance to us that our families patronize the organizations and businesses that so generously donate to our cause. Thus, in return for your gift, we will be highlighting your business or organization in our event program materials as well as alongside any items donated for auction.
