Incentive Awards for Annual Popcorn Fundraising Sale

Our annual BSA Popcorn Fundraising Sale is underway and started in August. Our Top 50 Scouts who sell $1250 or more of popcorn will qualify to win one of 50 prizes, to be awarded in December. These prizes will be items related to family experiences, electronics, creative hobbies, family dining, sporting events, outdoors, technology, electronics, and other events.
The Northeast Illinois Council serves Lake County and Northern Cook County. Our annual Popcorn fundraising sale calls upon our Scouts to sell products within their community. In 2022, our fundraising goal for this event is $700,000 in gross sales. Participating is a learning experience for Scouts, with great benefits such as personal growth, sales management, decision making, and building people skills. 70% of their total sales comes back to Scouting. In November and December, at the end of the sale, we will recognize our Top 50 sellers who sold at least $1250 of product. These Scouts will be invited to a special program where they will go home with a prize. We are seeking to gather prizes related to family experiences, sporting events, collectibles, electronics and creative hobbies, sporting events, technology, sporting goods, electronics, local events and experiences, camping and outdoor goods. A donation from your organization would allow us to recognize our Scouts and their remarkable efforts.
