Since its inception 25 years ago, Clarkston School District’s Independence Elementary School has demonstrated academic excellence.  With 495 students from Young Fives through 5th Grade, we are very proud of our achievements and look to continue and grow our efforts into the future!

On March 7th, 2025, we will be hosting our 9th Annual Winter Carnival fundraiser to support the work our PTO does for the school, including field trips for every grade level, assemblies, teacher mini-grants, book fairs, classroom enhancements, schoolwide t-shirts, Field Day event, March is Reading Month activities and so much more! In conjunction with the Winter Carnival, we are holding a silent auction/raffle.  We are asking for your support in the form of a donation or service item from your company.  In addition to our greatest appreciation, donors will also be promoted to our nearly 500 students and families via various mediums including our school newsletter and event promotional efforts.  Items/company names will also be featured on our PTO’s Facebook page (Independence Elementary PTO Clarkston) and website (www.iepto.org) as well as being on display during the event with anticipated attendance of nearly 1,000 people!
