Description
The Discovery Ball will be held at the beautiful JW Marriott Indianapolis on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm with a James Bond themed evening that includes silent and live auctions, an amazing dinner, and entertainment by Toy Factory.

The Discovery Ball is one of the premier gala events of its kind to be held in the country. The event is presented annually by the American Cancer Society Guild and is being hosted by our Event Chairs, Lisa Breall and Paula Klipsch.

The Discovery Ball is a premiere black tie gala benefitting the mission of the American Cancer Society. It has raised more than $1.3 million in five years and continues to be a one-of-a-kind function featuring amazing auctions, elegant dinner, and fantastic entertainment.

For nearly a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year.
