Description

Join us at the American Cancer Society’s ninth annual Discovery Ball on November 10th for a one-of-a-kind evening, Carnival in Rio, featuring tantalizing food with Brazilian flare from Neal Brown Events, entertainment by Brazilian band Os Hoosierinhos, Latin dancers, silent and live auctions, and an after party with DJ Lockstar spinning tunes, and much more. With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by attacking cancer from every angle.

The Discovery Ball is one of the premier gala events of its kind to be held in the country. The event is presented annually by the American Cancer Society Guild and is being hosted by our Event Chairs, Gwen Brack and Courtney Jennings-Sood. These ladies are passionate about finding a cure for cancer, and this event helps raise funds and awareness. The Executive Chair of the 2018 Discovery Ball is Victor Smith, Partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP . He leads the Council of Ambassadors, which is comprised of executives and philanthropic leaders that are passionate about the fight against cancer and dedicated to the success of the 2018 Discovery Ball.
