Description

Hello,

International Chamber Artists will be holding its annual benefit on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

After a long residency in Andersonville, ICA moved to Lake Forest, and to our new home at The Church of the Holy Spirit, in 2018. We have expanded our roster to include 19 musicians dedicated to the promotion of chamber music and the education and engagement of young audiences, and we continue to host all of our concerts free of charge, with just a $15 suggested donation.

"In chamber music a unique intimacy is created between the artists and their audience."
 – Jessica Usherwood, soprano

A truly international ensemble, ICA musicians perform with many of the finest ensembles in the world, and of course, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Our artists have been featured as individuals and as an ensemble in the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, and you may have heard them on 98.7 WFMT.

Since 2006, the International Chamber Artists’ mission is to present performances driven by the highest standards of artistic excellence, while collaborating with communities and organizations to promote the viability and growth of classical music audiences of the future.

"Chamber music is where one learns to play well with others. You learn to share, listen, support and lead all while maintaining your own voice. It's an incredibly rewarding experience."

– Rose Armbrust Griffin, viola

We are looking for items for our silent auction and would truly appreciate a donation of  an experience, a gift certificate, or a piece of merchandise. Your donation is tax deductible and will be recognized in the event program. Of course, we recognize that the last three years have been unprecedented and have likely had a huge impact on your organization, as they have on ours. Any consideration will be greatly appreciated.

I invite you to learn more about our group by visiting our website at www.ICAmusic.org.

Thank you in advance for your help in creating a successful benefit. If you have an item, questions, or need more information, please feel free to contact me.

Your support is appreciated now, more than ever.
