Dear Business Owners,

We are members of the Speas Global Elementary School Parent Teacher Association. We work throughout the year to support our students, teachers, and staff through volunteering and raising funds that go directly to our school. In the past few years, our PTA has provided the school with playground equipment, awnings to protect the students from the elements, classroom supplies, support for the educators, and educational events.

Thanks to generous donors like yourself, our 2023 silent auction raised more than $5,000 to support our students, classroom and campus. With the support of our partners, the Speas PTA is able to continue our mission of supporting students, teachers, staff, and Speas Global Elementary School.

We will be hosting an International Night on April, 19 2024 at 5.00pm. International Night is a free community event, and we are expecting over 200 families to join us. The event will feature teacher-run tables highlighting individual countries through information and an activity! We will also have performances from local cultural organizations and a silent auction.

In previous years we’ve had contributions such as gift baskets, products, gift cards, and gift certificates. Support from our community is vital to making our annual silent auction a success for our school! We would like to humbly ask your company if you’d be willing to make a donation of your business’ goods or services.  If it is possible, please mail any gift card donations to the school address below or we can send a volunteer to pick items up.  Your donation is tax deductible and upon receipt of your donation a letter will be provided for tax filing purposes.

The funds raised during this event will help us towards our goal of installing shades over our playgrounds to ensure that our students can continue to play on the playground even in our sunny weather. We also hope to continue to raise money to provide much needed support for all of our Speas’ educators.
