Description
The International Rescue Committee in San Diego is planning to host our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event on April 21, 2022. Our San Diego offices in the City Heights and El Cajon communities work to provide refugee families and individuals with resources that allow them to thrive in the United States. All our programs receive aid from volunteers who dedicate their time to helping our refugee families. Our volunteers tutor refugee youth, assist clients with their job search and resumes, support with our newly arrived families, help in our community gardens, and so much more. To recognize these wonderful volunteers and we are asking for donations of items for a raffle we will have at the event.
