The purpose of the Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program is to provide young adults with opportunities for community service and scholarships for advancing their studies through accredited schools of higher learning.

Our annual Kick-off Dinner and Silent Auction event being held 8/13/25 serves as our primary source of funding to provide opportunities to Inver Grove Heights youth who are ambassadors for the city of Inver Grove Heights.  Individuals represent the city of Inver Grove Heights participating in city events, parades, festivals, grand openings, and community service projects throughout the Minnesota/Wisconsin metropolitan areas. 

The Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program is a nonprofit organization that empowers youth through community leadership. The Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program develops leadership skills such as independence, professional presentation, public speaking, and confidence through volunteering, networking, and mentorship.  Funds raised from the Kick-Off Dinner and Silent Auction will be used towards activities and fees for events planned throughout the year and will support scholarships at the end of the youth's term.
