We’re writing to invite you to participate in a unique fundraising opportunity. On April 30, 2016, we are hosting an auction to benefit The Youth Center, a non-profit organization that provides educational & recreational programs for children ages 5 to 18.
“I would have had to stay home all summer without your help.” This is a direct quote from Michelle Fields, a 7 year old Youth Center participant whose family went through a severe financial catastrophe. Michelle’s mother is a single parent and she unexpectedly lost her job. The Youth Center was able to give Michelle a scholarship so she could go to our Summer Camp to meet new friends, play games, do crafts, and sports. I sincerely hope Michelle’s story captures your heart, as it is an experience over 3,000 families can relate to.
We’re seeking items from donors like you. This is an exciting and worthwhile chance to support children while promoting your brand and product to a target audience of nearly 8,350 The Youth Center supporters (plus exposure to online bidders).
By supporting The Youth Center’s auction you’ll receive:
• Valuable exposure simply for donating an item to our online auction—far beyond that of a traditional in-the-room auction.
• Greater interest in your products/services because we’re sending out numerous weekly
Email communications and using other powerful promotional vehicles to encourage our members’ participation and support in spreading word about the auction.
• Exposure at our live auction on April 30: placement in program and signage at the event.
Starting in December 2015, The Youth Center will begin promoting Invest In a Child Auction to our supporters. The sooner you sign on, the more promotion you’ll enjoy as a generous item donor.
This auction enables us to provide item donors like you with a valuable platform for visibility within our community. The greater the value of the items you choose to donate, the more opportunities for promotion and recognition your organization can receive.
