33rd annual Irvine Junior Games Track and Field fundraising event with over 1,200 4th - 8th grade athletes from 35 elementary and miiddle schools in Irvine, CA on May 15, 2022, at Irvine Stadium. (Irvine, CA)

The event brings together the city of Irvine, the Irvine Unified School District, foundations, corporation and the community to raise fund for before and after school child care scholarships for low income, working families.  The child care is provided on all 28 elementary schools in Irvine, CA.

After two years of cancelling due to the pandemic, the Irvine Junior Games have returned with overwhelming support by families and corporations to help the Irvine Children's Fund raise school age child care funding.

We have all learned that accessible and affordable child care is a key component to the recover and rebuilding of the economy following the pandemic.

Children can go safely to and from home, school and child care with no after school transprtation needed as the child care is located on each elementary school.  This program provides child care year round both before and after school and full days during school holidays and summers.
