About the Legacy Gala

The Irving Schools Foundation Legacy Gala is a premier annual event that celebrates the achievements of Irving ISD and honors outstanding community leaders. Since 2011, the gala has raised over $5.1 million to support educational equity and excellence across the district. With more than 88% of students coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, your support provides critical resources that directly impact students and educators.

Proceeds from the Legacy Gala fund transformative programs such as:

 
Food for Thought – A weekend food bag program feeding over 1,500 students each week.
Spark Tank – A grant program for innovative student and teacher-led projects, awarding over $1.8 million since 2013. 
C2C Store– A no-cost supply store for teachers and staff, stocked with school and classroom essentials.
Switched-On Learning – An adaptive toy initiative that ensures students with disabilities have access to inclusive learning tools.
Threads of Hope – A clothing support program providing free school uniforms and essential items to students in need.
