Benicia Community Foundation, Inc. will host the 1st Annual IT STARTS WITH THE HEART Charity Event, May 20, 2023, from 5pm to 10:30pm at the Benicia Clock Tower.
The proceeds from this event will be used for programs that support our local community. We are seeking event sponsors and donations from our community allies for this important charity event.

- Admission fee includes: 1 cocktail ticket, passed appetizers, seated dinner, assorted desserts, coffee/tea bar, and plenty of dancing
- Assigned seating of 8. (If you wish to sit with your friends please try to purchase your tickets in bulk to make it easier on us)
- No-Host bar
- Prefer cash at event but square/venmo will be available

Projects we are proud of:
• Awarded $6,500 to Benicia Unified School District to help with activities, organizations, and events
• Awarded $3,750 to the Benicia Dog Festival for non-profit organizations that rescue and provide care for animals during natural disasters like our ongoing California wildfires.
• Awarded $2,000 to Benicia Makerspace for their STEAM Discovery Festival focusing on all things STEAM related, Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics.
• Awarded $1,500 to Carquinez Village to aid in strengthening their technological capacity to better support services that enable many members to remain in their homes and host a range of programs and activities that provide stimulation, speakers, new experiences, and fun.
• Awarded $1,000 to the Benicia Performing Arts Foundation in support of the Benicia Diversity Festival which seeks to bridge racial and cultural barriers.
• Awarded $1,000 to Special Olympics Northern California to provide free year-round sports, inclusive education, health and leadership programs to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
