On Sunday the 17th of October, the Inland Valley Down Syndrome Association will hold its much-anticipated, sixth annual Buddy Walk. This year we will hold a socially responsible event that will include a car parade and a virtual 5K. Many of our participants are medically fragile and we want to do everything to keep them safe.
For the past five years about 800 guests from the Inland Valley and surrounding area have made their way to this amazing event. At this year’s Buddy Walk, guests will drive their loved ones around our parade route bringing awareness of Down syndrome to our local community. Our families and supporters will also have the opportunity to participate in this new virtual 5K event and online silent auction.

You will be directly helping us support individuals with Down syndrome. What is Buddy Walk:
The Buddy Walk® was created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote the acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Since 1995, the Buddy Walk® has become the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome in the United States. It is also the world’s most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community.
