For over 25 years, the employees of the Marion County Board of County Commissioners have held an annual Jamboree Day event. This three-hour festival is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 319 SE 26th Terrace, Ocala by Green Clover Hall. The employees purchase advanced tickets and tickets at the event to play games for prizes, food, and drinks. All of the profits from this Jamboree Day event will be donated to three charities, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and United Way of Marion County. This event is planned by employees for employees.
