For more than 137 years, Maryville has been dedicated to healing children, providing them with safe and compassionate care, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential. We are proud to be one of the community’s oldest social service agencies, changing the lives of more than 2,500 children and families each year. As a partner in the community, we hope you will join our efforts to raise awareness and funds for a program positively changing the lives of youth through education. 

On Friday, September 10th, we will host our SEVENTH annual Jammin’ with Jen to support the Maryville Jen School.  The Jen School provides specialized academic and vocational opportunities for young men and women ages 12-21 who are experiencing academic, emotional, behavioral or cognitive challenges and have been unsuccessful in a traditional school environment. Jen students experience hands-on learning in the classroom and through a vocational program, designed to inspire them to develop skills they can utilize for the rest of their lives.  This year the Jen School will celebrate its 14th year! 

The farm to table dinner will showcase the Jen School’s organic garden and greenhouse – which has grown to 36 garden boxes and eight fruit trees since its inception in 2008!  The garden produces healthy, organic food for the school’s cafeteria and a student-run summer Farmer’s Market right here on the Des Plaines campus.
