I am writing to seek your support for the 15th annual Beech "Jazz on the Ave" Music Festival on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The festival features various musical genres, including jazz, soul, gospel, and R&B, as well as some contemporary urban music. 
Located in the heart of North Philadelphia, along West Cecil B. Moore Avenue, the festival is a great
summer outdoor venue for everyone, including families. Our local merchandise and food vendors are
licensed by the city to sell or distribute their products and services that feature visual arts, handmade
jewelry, apparel, book authors, health and wellness screenings, and community resource materials.

The festival is presented by Beech Community Services, and the Philadelphia 22nd Police District with
support from the City of Philadelphia Commerce Department, LISC, law enforcement, local officials,
company sponsors, volunteers, area business owners, and community residents. Our festival is Beech
Community Services' way of giving back to the Cecil B. Moore community and continuing its role of
revitalizing the area by providing social, educational, and community services to its population, both
residential and commercial.
