We are reaching out to you today as representatives from the Johnson County High School Student Council.  Our Student Council is a scholar group that consists of these elements: leadership, student voice, service, and engagement. 

The Student Council partakes each year in a wide variety of outreach services.  Each month the students spear head appreciation days for staff members throughout the school.  Student Council members also help the elementary schools with Parent Involvement Nights, Fall Festivals, Read Across America, and Career Fairs.  Community outreach takes place via working with the Imagination Library, Senior Center, Christmas on Main, and the United Way just to name a few. 

To take part in vital leadership trainings and provide a vast amount of outreach services requires a lot of time, dedication, and financial resources, so we would like to ask you for your assistance.  The Student Council would like to attend a leadership opportunity this spring.  In order to raise the funds needed for this opportunity we are writing grants, holding fundraisers, and seeking donations to meet our rather large goal. 

One fundraiser we are having is a dinner and auction on Thursday, November 10.  Either a monetary donation or an item donation of any kind for the auction portion of our fundraiser would be much appreciated.  For tax purposes, our EIN is 62-6000688.  Any Student Council member may visit you upon request.

Please partner with us and make any monetary or auction contribution that you are able to give.  Any donation will be used responsibly for our tremendous cause.  All of the students recognize your generosity and each individual is most appreciative of your support.
