JDRF South Central Texas will host it's 7th Annual Golf Tournament, also known as the Stratton Scramble on Friday, April 28th, 2023 and it's 24th Annual Promise Ball on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. Both events will be held at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa.

Join us as JDRF celebrates the tenacity and courage displayed by the type 1 diabetes community and most importantly raises critical funds to support life-changing research. With your commitment and support, we will make history by making type 1 diabetes the first non-infectious chronic disease ever eracicated.

The Promise Ball

ONE NIGHT IN TEXAS - SATURDAY APRIL 29TH, 2023

The JDRF Promise Ball attracts more than five hundred guests annually, including many area philanthropists, corporate and city leaders. The funds raised at the Promise Ball play a critical role in funding resources and research for both long-term and newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetics. The 2022 JDRF Promise Ball raised over 1.6 million dollars!

This Premier event, being held at the beautiful Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa, includes:

• Cocktail reception featuring Live Music followed by dinner and the main event
• Silent and live auction packages including many one-of-a-kind items
• Live music entertainment at the After Party by Gunpowder Soup
• JDRF Fund A Cure presentation: Promise Ball guests have an opportunity to make a Fund A Cure (call to action) donation during this special presentation. A donation to Fund A Cure is a direct donation to the most critical diabetes research and is 100% tax deductible.

The Stratton Scramble Golf Tournament 

ONE PAR- TEE I FRIDAY APRIL 28TH, 2023

In 2022 the JDRF Golf Tournament was renamed the Stratton Scramble after local philanthropist, Doctor. and type 1 diabetic Cary Stratton, M.D. Dr. Stratton has helped to raise over 800,000 for the type 1 diabetes community through this fun-filled Tournament.

This One Par Tee on the scenic Arthur Hills-designed golf 27-hole championship course will feature:

• Lunch with a 1 pm shotgun start
• On-course activities such as tastings and games
• Golf Cannon
• Hole In-One Prizes, Tee Gift, and Swag Bag
• Awards dinner with live music entertainment
