The Jeff Ritchie Memorial Golf Classic, presented by EDCO Waste & Recycling Services, is an annual fundraising event that gathers a full field of 144 business and community leaders for a fun day on course FORE the kids at the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos (BGCSM). The event consists of a scramble format tournament, on-course contests and activities, an online and in-person silent auction, helicopter golf ball drop, and more.

The event raises crucial general operating dollars to support BGCSM's year-round programs in services. In response to COVID-19, BGCSM pivoted to safely reopen its main branch as a Distance Learning Center, providing all-day supervision, access to technology, and virtual learning support to local youth as schools conduct remote instruction.
